4 Ways to Use Your Wedding Photos as Holiday Gifts

You guys! The Holidays are here! They are here and I am so darn excited! I have had my Christmas tree up for *weeks* already and I have already made my holiday gift-giving list this year. Because this is literally the most wonderful time of the year.

Since here at King's Things we give our clients all of the digital files as a part of their wedding packages, we thought it would be fun to share some ideas of how you can take your photo files and turn them into awesome holiday gifts for your loved ones. So without any further adieu, I present to you 4 ways you can use your wedding photos as holiday gifts.

1. Picture Frames

This is probably the most obvious way to give your wedding photos as presents. Take your favorite photos of you with your bridesmaids, parents, flower girl/ring bearer or any other photo that captures a special moment with your loved ones and put them in a nice frame to give to the person in the picture with you. They. will. love it.

2. Shadow Boxes

Take a picture you may have put in a frame for someone and put it in a shadow box instead. Add some little trinkets from the wedding day and voila! You've got a wonderful art piece that your loved one can hang on the wall. For your mother or mother-in-law, grab a copy of one of her wedding photos and put it in there with yours to add an extra dose of sentiment and thoughtfulness. These are especially great for your parents and grandparents.

3. Turn them into Jewelry

Take your favorite photo of you and your maid-of-honor or your parents and turn it into a pendant or a locket. There are some great tutorials out there on how to put a custom image into a necklace pendant and lockets are pretty self-explanatory and *bonus* they're pretty easy too. They are small gifts that can pack a big punch and will be something the recipient will treasure, wear and possibly pass down for generations.

4. Make an Album

This is a great idea for your parents. It is very likely that most of your family was able to get together for the wedding AND you were able to get some great family shots, both posed and candid. Gather all of those images and put them into an album, either by using a website like MPIX.com or making one by hand using scrapbooking materials. Your wedding was a big milestone in your family's history and your parents will cherish seeing all of those images together in one place.

I love love love making these kinds of gift for my friends and family. They are always a big hit and I definitely think doing the same thing with your wedding photos will have you winning the holiday gift-giving game this year.
